PHELWANE died in 1988.
Phelwane was named after a spruit which crosses
the Satara - Orpen road
Allthough
he was not one of the Magnificent 7 his tusks are exposed in the Letaba Elephant Hall

He roamed the Satara area
Characteristics
Phelwane's right tusk was more straight, the left more
curved upwards. He had very heavy tusks
